The 60 Minutes piece on the Trump Administration’s torture prison that Bari Weiss doesn’t want you to see has leaked.

Mostly an echo chamber, but who knows?

A notable lack of IO people.
CBS News may not want you to see its CECOT reporting, but I'm happy to share this powerful video that our team produced this year.
“An American Nightmare”: Three Men Deported to CECOT and Their Families Reflect on Their Monthslong Ordeal
For months, Carmen, Lina and Doris awaited news about their loved ones, who were sent to a maximum-security Salvadoran prison by the Trump administration. Now that the families have been reunited, the...

Here is a gift link to the NYT article about Weiss killing a fact-checked story because it was not sympathetic enough to an presidential administration in the midst of deciding about another corporate merger that CBS's owners are trying to win.

Today, as then, the challenge of faith is to be true to our particular heritage while being a blessing to others, whatever their heritage. That is a formula for peace and graciousness in an era badly in need of both.”

But there are many ways, each distinct and unique, in which different cultures and civilizations define their relationship with the Author of all being. We do not presume to judge them, except insofar as they succeed or fail in honoring the basic, universal principles of human dignity. …

“As we search in the twenty-first century for a way to avoid a ‘clash of civilizations,’ it seems to me that humanity can learn much from the ancient and compelling way of understanding the human condition… We are all the ‘image and likeness’ of G_d…

Beautiful and timely thoughts from Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, of blessed memory. May we all find a path to be a blessing to others from each of our beliefs and traditions, whatever they may be (including non-faith).

Trump's bellicosity toward Venezuela is a betrayal of everything that the FIFA Peace Prize stands for.

100%. Our Muslim friends and neighbors came forward and stood by us when we needed them. ❤️
Probably worth sharing again that after the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, the local Islamic Center not only immediately showed up in person in solidarity but raised a significant amount of funds for victims.

You are sowing hatred and divisiveness. That is not the way forward. Meanwhile, you are reported and blocked.

Thank you!

Thank you very much. I am grateful and happy to be here and to have the opportunity to celebrate the holiday. Happy Chanukah!

We honor the memories of those who were brutally murdered in Bondi Beach simply for being Jews by observing Chanukah and playing our part in bringing light and love to the world.

We will continue to fight hate by spreading love. Chanukah teaches us we cannot and should not yield to oppression and hatred. We will not be deterred or intimidated by hatred and violence.

The holiday of Chanukah, which begins tonight, celebrates resistance from persecution and dedication to our principles and identities as Jews. As Chanukah begins we rededicate ourselves to our principles, traditions, and people.

🧵I am a survivor of the synagogue attack in Pittsburgh in which 11 innocent people were murdered simply for being Jews. We now see the repetition of this horrific hate fueled violence in Bondi Beach, Australia.

There are plenty of fixes for health care monopoly - both big and small. It’s time to stop talking and take action - before it’s too late.

110% what Zack Cooper says. Debating health insurance subsidies is looking in the wrong place. Monopoly power by hospitals and insurers is killing our economy, and literally, some of us.

Education transformed Garfield’s life and he recognized its crucial importance for an informed, active, and productive citizenry. We desperately need to restore a vision for public service and a dedication to improving our country like those he held.

Visited the President James Garfield historic site in Mentor, Ohio (his former home) - fascinating. One of his many important accomplishments was to establish the US Bureau of Education in 1866, the forerunner of our Department of Education.

Today on Native American Heritage Day, we honor indigenous cultures whose influence and contributions are evident in communities across the country. Arizona is a special place, and the 22 tribes that call our state home are a big reason for it.

Umm, let me get this straight…
