I’ve always thought Yates was all bluster and dog whistle sound bites and not much understanding of anything really!

It’s time never to hear from him again

I mean, fine if that’s the deal he made with his clients. But that also means he can’t do commentator work at the same time. It’s one or the other, this isn’t rocket science 🙄

I switched off

Ivan Yates as a first guest tho!!

I was really looking forward to McCullagh but just switched off

Ah FFS, in the ultimate of who cares anymore the very first guest on David McCullagh’s is Ivan Yates. Yates just needs to be ignored, he is an ignoramus and a buffoon. He’s already used that most idiotic of phrases ‘anti-woke’! #speirgorm

Dystopian nightmare

Truth
Mamdani got a humanities degree.

His win helps to illustrate that one of the central forces driving higher ed’s dissolution of the humanities is the fear that teaching people how power works can also lead to their interest in seizing it on behalf of the less powerful.

Yes, even more enraging (also wasn’t in time to screen shot that one)

We were never woke enough … liberal feminism is a failing project, the patriarchy will never allow full equality, so it’s time to bring it all down

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
More feminist rage! A President, a head of state, a woman, cannot walk on the street without being sexuslly harassed! #killthepatriarchy

Bear with me for a moment while I do a feminist rage - liberal feminism has not gone far enough in ‘ruining’ (aka fundamentally transforming) the workplace … & there is no such thing as conservative feminism (call it what it is, anti-feminism) … and that’s my tuppence worth on a Friday morning
The world’s first trillionaire initiated a move that has left more than half a million people dead, most of whom are children.
