On December 28, 2024, the IDF kidnapped Dr Hussam Abu Safiya from his post as pediatrician and director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza. He had refused to abandon his patients. He has been held in Israeli prison without charges ever since, tortured, starved, refused family visits.
This is absolutely heartbreaking

Dr. Hossam's lawyers warns: his heart is exhausted, his body shattered from continuous torture, & the freezing temperatures in his cell are worsening his suffering.

Do not let the voice of the doctor who saved lives fade away 💔

The Bluesky team @jay.bsky.team, @aaron.bsky.team, @safety.bsky.app can't even be bothered to answer Pastures about why his account ban was enacted. Genocide enablers! Bring back our friend Pastures!!
No longer content with banning Palestinians trying to survive genocide, @jay.bsky.team and @safety.bsky.app and @aaron.bsky.team have now suspended one of our activists for Palestine, Pastures. His account must be reinstated immediately.
Pastures, a lovely Iranian mutual who worked tirelessly to help our Palestinian friends in Gaza on here, has just been suspended by Bluesky, the same day they also suspended the Kurdish women’s research organisation account. @safety.bsky.app @jay.bsky.team @aaron.bsky.team hate Brown people.

Another day another person elected to Congress who will cosponsor the Block The Bombs Act, which would ban the transfer of bombs, tank shells, and artillery rounds to the Israeli army.

It currently has 62 cosponsors.

US-made munitions continue to be used in Gaza, with a Hellfire missile being used in a strike last night.

Verification by @easybakeovensz.bsky.social indicates that the weapon remnants visible at the impact site are from a Hellfire missile control section and rocket motor.

Yellow marks the control section, red shows the control section internals, and blue marks the rocket motor.

The Israeli army bulldozed parts of a cemetery in Gaza which houses the graves of Allied solders, including dozens of British and Australian soldiers, from World War II.

The IDF has falsely claimed that the dismantling was done out of self defense due to it being an "active combat zone".

The IDF rigged a water facility in Gaza with explosives and detonated it. They filmed themselves doing so and posted the video to social media with a "funny" caption. All during a ceasefire.

But if I, as a Canadian, criticize this, I risk having HonestReporting or Canary Mission come after my job.
