The US military is KNOWN for stealing children. TODAY. We saw it when the troops were withdrawn from Afghanistan. We saw it during Hurricane Katrina. We see it in the prison system as white folks try to buy the children of pregnant incarcerated women.

@grundrza.bsky.social also reflects on the fact that exploiting existing inequalities between tenure track and adjunct faculty makes it easier to implement censorship. Without workplace protections, adjuncts can't refuse to teach censored books.
