Going into the weekend like:
This made me cry. I’m so tired. Thank you Walz, thank you for seeing us.

Like everyone, I’ll believe they’re gone when they check out of the hotels and stop brutalizing us, but till then I really appreciate the governor acknowledging our reality. ❤️
Gov. Tim Walz: "They left us with deep damage. Generational trauma. Economic ruin in some cases. The left us with many unanswered questions. Where are our children? Where and what is the process of the investigation into those that were responsible for the deaths of Renee and Alex?"

They literally dragged a minor employee out of a Target as he was wailing that he was a US citizen, roughed him up in their car, and then dropped him off bloodied and bruised in the freezing cold a couple of miles away, so miss us with this.
Homan: "ICE is a legitimate federal law enforcement agency. We're not out scouring the streets to disappear people or deny people their civil rights or due process."

This episode has been a nightmare for my city and state, but I hope people realize it’s also a profound defeat and political catastrophe for Trump and DHS, who are slinking away having accomplished nothing. Minneapolis simply wouldn’t bend to them and they lost
Homan in Minnesota: "I have proposed, and President Trump has concurred, that this surge operation conclude. A significant drawdown has already been underway this week and will continue."

Holy moly. I have been fighting for this my whole life. Fully funded schools and free school breakfast and lunch has always been the answer. These oblivious weirdos.
Rollins: "School lunches are next. A lot of schools don't even have an oven anymore. When I was growing up, lunch ladies were back there cooking meals on stoves. So how do we completely and fundamentally change the system to go back to where we're serving healthy whole foods to these kiddos?"

There is not one person in Minnesota surprised that border patrol/ICE wildly shot off weapons for no reason (party balloon!) with no thought of civilian destruction.

THIS IS ALSO AN ICE STORY.

Abolish ICE, they are nothing but heavily armed goons.
According to multiple NYT sources, it wasn’t even military personnel at Fort Bliss that fired an anti-drone laser at alleged cartel drones. It was CBP who used the weapon on loan from DoD against a child’s party balloon they mistook for a drone. The Pentagon gave CBP an anti-aircraft weapon.

This is a must read. The impact on married women alone is egregious—especially impacting women who are older and more conservative
Breaking: House passes new version of SAVE Act, worst voter suppression bill considered by Congress. Could disenfranchise:

-21 million Americans w/out access to citizenship papers
-69 mil married women who took partner’s name
-21 mil w/out valid drivers license

I wrote a whole book about this and comfortable America is complacent beyond what is expressable. I am now self-publishing it after infinity rejections. 🤬
Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”
Nick Fuentes: “The number one political enemy in America is women. … They have to be imprisoned.”

This is what I wrote about— they are outside all our front doors, constantly. And if you live in a blue city, get ready, this is what retribution looks like. Doing all the violence to you they can while blaming “the immigrant”.

Every photo from Minneapolis looks like this. Cops decked out with guns and full tac gear facing off against people in bathrobes, parkas, and sweatpants armed only with whistles and cell phones.

Yet every verified MAGA chode on X dutifully calls it a riot or violent insurrection.

This is the scene I was at this morning. I know Minnesotans filming ICE in their bathrobes is becoming a bit of a thing, but after you laugh, let it dawn on you that people here hate ICE so much that we rush out half-dressed to film even when there are already dozens of others doing the same thing.

Sometimes very hard not to feel like the rest of the country has abandoned Minnesota. We STILL have ICE everywhere. Our schools, businesses, and economy are in profound crisis. But without Bovino here throwing tear gas, much of the country seems to not care at all what’s being done to us.

WHERE IS JONATHAN ROSS?

He should be in jail awaiting trial for the murder of Renee Good.

Where is he?
Where is Jonathan Ross?

A month ago he killed Renee Good. Is he on the streets, armed and ready to take more lives? Is he in a cushy office somewhere, living a good life off the taxpayer dime. Is he at a training facility, teaching feds to step in front of cars, kill, and say they were afraid?

This is the second time an ICE employee has been arrested in in a Bloomington, MN underage sex trafficking sting www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/ne...
Police in Bloomington, MN just announced that one of the guys they arrested in an underage sex trafficking sting was a **background checker for ICE agents.**

He had a high security clearance in the Trump administration... and he was caught trying to abuse children. Sickening.

Minneapolis: We are living the FUCK ICE lifestyle.

Because, and I cannot emphasize this enough: Abolish ICE, and also they can fuck all the way off.
I’m sorry, you were saying?

A bunch of rent relief fundraisers are going on (I'm sure plenty of people falling through the cracks though). Also a tow truck company is towing people's cars back to where they live for free. Minneapolis has waived fees to get them out of impound. There is an enormous amount of mutual aid going on
During the Japanese Internment, their property was confiscated by the government and/or sold for as little as 10% of their value to locals.

I just wonder what happens to immigrants' homes and other property when they're send to a camp and deported?
Has anyone read or seen anything ab out what's happening to all the property left behind by the immigrants ICE is snatching and deporting?

I know the Sgt. Schultz routine seems to work for GOP legislators, but claiming you’re unaware of massively viral videos of ICE misconduct when you’re the director of ICE just makes you sound hopelessly incompetent and out of the loop.
THANEDAR: What did your ICE agent mean when he said, 'you raise your voice, I erase your voice' in the video all of us have seen?

LYONS: I'm not aware of that video. I can't comment

This is so true, I've actually heard strangers greeting each other by saying: "Fuck ICE." Like, not ironically or anything it's just turning into a knowingly slightly-askew greeting, like saying "howdy" or "salutations."

Also: Fuck ICE.
people not in MN cannot comprehend how hating ICE is now a core cultural component of being Minnesotan. it’s babe the big blue ox, loons, hot dish, and ICE OUT NOW
Gift shop in the Minneapolis airport is selling "ICE OUT of St. Paul" posters next to cute onesies and fridge magnets.
