Great turn out at the MIRAC rally & march today at Jackson Square Park. It was heart warming seeing our immigrant neighbors open their windows and cheer as we went through the neighborhood.

ICE is still active all across Minnesota, even parking at observers homes this morning. But we’ve been showing up all weekend with massive food drives, placing hearts where were abducted, at singing marches, and there’s another big protest at Jackson Square Park today at noon. Let’s keep showing up!

We’re going to continue being out there and patrolling to protect our neighbors until every single last agent is gone. We’re also going to keep this connection going and continue building community for long after whenever this operation ends.

To commentate Valentine’s Day, community members and Recovery Bike Shop help put hearts along central at spots where our community members were taken. In the last 3 months at least 38 people have been taken around central Ave.

Today is Fredrick Douglass birthday!

He was born into slavery, and didn’t know his real birthday. He picked Valentines Day because it was the last day he saw his mother, as a child.

Sharing the page from the NPS website, since it will piss them off it’s still there.

We’re still seeing ICE going in and out of the Whipple building. As long as they’re still here working to separate families, we need to make sure people are out patrolling & keeping watch.

We don’t accept their behavior happening here or anywhere else which is why all of DHS needs to be dismantled
February 13, 2026 at 9:00 PM
We continue to see no drawdown today with ICE activity in the Phillips neighborhood, Columbia Heights, and Shakopee.

Our pressure is working as the Senate bill to fund DHS did not pass last night. Keep up the pressure by reaching out to your federal representatives.

Liam is the mayor of Northeast and is a true treasure!

Lucky to have @liam2manynames.bsky.social 💜
I was scrolling through these videos, and while the subject matter is dire, I want to shout out Liam (from Council President Payne's Office)

Liam - ‪I don't know if there is any staffer in the country doing more right now. Thank you, and stay in the fight, brother.

Could have used this opinion about 70 days ago. Hope to see this applied everywhere
Incredibly powerful opinion chronicling the awfulness in Whipple and the ways it interfered with the right to counsel.

One key part of the ruling (that ICE will likely appeal ASAP); Judge Brasel bars ICE from transferring anyone out of Minnesota within 72 hours of arrest.

There has been no draw down today. ICE snatched someone off Central Ave out of his car because he looked Latino before then letting him go a couple hours later. They were stopping people in Blaine on highway 65, they were all around Fridley, and were in the parking lot of the St Anthony liquor store

Lots of emotions and questions following Homan's announcement. But the thing I keep coming back to is this:

We cannot go back. We must take this moment, reflect on the power we discovered, and build a city that is stronger, more caring, and more connected.

A city that can do this can do anything.

UPDATE: He was just released. This shows that just indiscriminately took someone because they were Latino. Their illegal tactics continue so we still need neighbors to patrol, observe, and support our immigrant community.
Someone was abducted at 10 AM by ICE on Central Ave. Their coworker says they’ve lived here for over 20 years, are documented, and have 3 kids who were born here.

Don’t be fooled by headlines when they’ve been lying to us the whole time. We still need you out patrolling until every agent is gone.

This morning Tom Homan announced operation metro surge would end soon. I’ll believe it when I see it. We still need people out and staying vigilant until every last agent is gone and everyone wrongly taken to Texas or anyone else is back home.

Today ICE caused a multi-vehicle crash in St Paul so bad that someone was sent to the hospital. This is the opposite of keeping us safe.

They have been active around NE today & we know school dismissal is always a peak time for them so please get out if you can & help keep our community safe.

ICE has been active this morning staging in St Anthony so we still need people out patrolling our neighborhoods.

I’m headed to the Capitol today ahead of session starting next week to work on the 70 bills we have around ICE.
