Today’s loaf inspired by the goblin turkey I saw jumping up at boulevard tree limbs in search of fruit. I honor their athleticism and sweet tooth.

Free publicity for my new campaign, Winkler thought.

Sorry dude you just look like an idiot for selecting a business partner who was actively avoiding paying his child support and would go on to impersonate an asshole attorney. Congrats on the publicity!
Former House leader, prominent attorney are alleged victims in Twin Cities THC company fraud case

Final paving of the Kenilworth Trail and Midtown Greenway intersection—complete with bike trail roundabout!—is underway now.

Cannot wait for this to finally be completed.

While Josh is dignified and doesn’t name names, I do want to open up the floor to speculation about candidates who “were asked to run but didn’t”

Not to call them out! But perhaps as a balm to imagine about the city with their leadership.
On today's episode: Josh Martin opens up about what took him down a path of extremism: from Kate Knuth doorknocker in 2021 to Omar Fateh's treasurer in 2025.

Plus, reaction and analysis to last week's election results.

Hmmm a gale warning for the entirety of the largest freshwater lake in the world. Must have been a big storm. Curious to see how this plays out.

Thank you Vince, I’m reading these to my son as a bed time story
#OnThisDay Nov 9 1975, 7pm: The National Weather Service issues a gale warning for all of Lake Superior, predicting a storm would pass just to the south by 7am. The report is not unusual for November. Captains of the two vessels decide on a northerly course in an attempt to gain some shelter.

Ran into this massive Yeti walking around Target as a marketing ploy. My baby asked “is that employee in the costume smiling?” and I said “I’m not so sure” and he cried.

They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but at least he didn’t call David a “Nazi” when he was asked to follow rules.
4/ Reader, that campaign manager was Scott Graham, who lost in 2023 to Katie Cashman. (He’s now running Pearll Warren’s campaign.) On the way out, he allegedly told a team judge “your head judge is really an asshole.” Guilty, sir. But you bumrushed me into it.

DISGUSTED to see so many people reposting this. I thought we had an agreement to wait for Ezra Klein to tell us why this result means we should be more moderate.

Love this. But pull that helmet down a bit, friend!
We're biking across Minneapolis to talk to voters today. Columnist Eric Roper is on a mission to get to all 13 wards before polls close.

Did I open our conversation by saying “thank you for all your work for the progressive movement in our city”? Yes. (Wildly formal, I admit)

Did he have the NERVE to say “I still feel like I could’ve done more”? Yes

Here to tell everyone who has helped in ANY capacity, you are enough and you rock!
Halfway through my last shift of the weekend I was flagged down by @ethankomoroski.bsky.social who was ebiking to canvass Ward 13. Big respect for doing the work down there

Have seen multiple new (?), ad-less (!), hybrid (!!) Metro Transit buses recently. Feel like I’m seeing something very lewd as they go by all clean and naked without any wrap on them. I cover my eyes.

Had a spit take when Steve suggested our current mayor is more clear-eyed on “what voters will swallow”

I can take a lot but I can’t swallow continued lack of police oversight.
Haven't really seen flopsweat from Frey’s campaign, but deploying top surrogate Steve Cramer to attack @jazzformayor.bsky.social & @dewayneforminneapolis.com when Frey‘s worked to keep it a Fateh-only race indicates RCV strategy has rattled them. Cramer’s letter; my response (sent to Strib).
