I don't really object to the content of the story, but I doubt that engaging with such an obviously made up claim convinces anyone. And maybe reinforces that it's actually a serious debate.

There's a generation of Minneapolitans who've been so deeply traumatized over nearly a decade that this is all they see when a story about "paid protesters" comes across their screen.

Today we cleared the NW corner of 28th and Lyndale (plus bus stop), which required that plus pick axe and took three people two hours (a lot of stuff can be done much more easily/quickly!).

I’ve been wandering solo with an ice chopper, but have recently met up with friends with more tools. The crowbar + hammer was key to clearing the SE corner of 22nd and Lyndale a few days ago.

We salute members of the Minneapolis Volunteer Public Works Department for making Lyndale Avenue sidewalks a little safer.
Bopping in to say that clearing ice from corners and bus stops is excellent community care and also good for getting out some kind of energy and connecting with strangers.

Giving the Washington County Republicans a visit but won't respond to my invitation??? I'm pretty sure Washington County isn't even in Hennepin County.

What profiles in big national outlets aren't capturing is the irony of Frey basking in the glow of resistance put up by people who hate his guts. Can't wait for the irony of him accepting the Nobel peace prize on behalf of his haters.
