Our state budget forecast today made clear that, in Minnesota we did our job. We built a strong economy and invested in our people.

But Republican cuts are jeopardizing that work to fund tax cuts for the rich. They need stop the grift and start supporting Minnesotans.

The federal deal to end the shutdown will make hemp-derived THC products in Minnesota essentially illegal, jeopardizing over 5,000 licensed businesses and $200 million a year.

This is a reckless interference into Minnesota's marketplace and Congress needs to fix it before irreparable harm is done.
