Finkelstein is one of those guys who thought wokeness had gone too far when it came for his own sexism, so now he pals around with fascists under the thinnest possible veneer of “anti-Israel” critique
Norman Finkelstein, the fuck is wrong with you?
This is the second time he's gone on Candace Owens' show, and look how she frames the interview in her tweet.

English #etymology of the day: the word "mocha" (as in coffee) is ultimately from the name of the city of Mocha or المخا al-Mukhā in Yemen. A port city on the Red Sea, Mocha played an important role in the historic coffee trade. "Moka pot" also has the same etymology.
Reading about Rabbi Baruch ben Shumel. Born in Pinsk, immigrated to Safed (1819) and then travelled widely in the Arab world. Became the physician of the Imam of Sanaa, al-Imam al-Mahdi Abdallah, and then killed by him (after advising the Imam to refrain from sex, and asking to be governor of Mocha)

It's funny how she avoid saying "the Jews" and instead says "Jewish individuals" which, I've noticed, is considered more polite language for unclear reason.
There’s no daylight between what Candace says here about “the Jews” & what Nazi propagandists & Father Coughlin said about the Jews in the 1930s. Her show is one of the top 5 “conservative” podcasts in the US. She has 5.5 million subscribers on YouTube and 7.3 million followers on X.

When Chuck Schumer calls himself "the guardian of Israel", he's quoting Psalms 121:4. Israel there, as it used to be for many many centuries, means the Jewish people, not the modern state of Israel.

I would suggest launching the ADL monitor, but not sure what's the point of monitoring an organisation that has made itself irrelevant.

Re the new member of the Abraham accords: I spent two hours in Kazakhstan in 1998. I was crossing from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan. This was where I learnt the Russian word for "customs". Had a great lunch by the side of the road - three ladies selling amazing soup. Abrahamic soup, maybe.

The Palestine Solidarity Campaign defended Miller in 2021, but decided earlier this year not to platform him (you can find his rants about it). That's good, better late than never. However they haven't said about this publicly, which is bad. The guy thinks calling out swastikas is zionism.
For those who aren't keeping up, Mamdani is a Zionist now (for condeming swastika graffiti on a yeshiva)

I assume there are quite a few Palestinian activists who have Zohran Mamdani's number. That kind of access to power is a new and positive development. It's not sufficient for anything, it doesn't guarantee anything, but it's a necessary one.

The ADL is terrified that the Mamdani administration will continue to demonstrate that a genuine, tangible commitment to the well-being of Jews in America can coexist alongside staunch opposition to the policies of a country on the other side of the planet. It hurts their bottom line

Here is one of the most recent, on the lack of realistic strategic direction in Israel:

Israeli Policy Is Divided Into Two Main Camps. Neither One Offers a Realistic Path Forward.
To exit the strategic cul-de-sac, Israeli leaders need to account for today’s political and diplomatic realities, as well as the limits of what military force can accomplish.
