Don't think "social media is just for validation" people actually know how it works. Social media isn't for validation, it's for twice weekly public breakdowns where strangers react by sending you cry-laugh emojis.

Deleted last post because it felt like too much but the fact that I made £1.91 last week out of my art sales is quite hard to take when someone on Instagram accuses me of gatekeeping for not loving AI generated "art"

Not a fan of the kids using "boy sober" as a cutesy way to describe being single and not dating. There is absolutely nothing wrong with our traditional identity of "independent hag sitting atop gnarled clifftop tree, swooping down on leathery wings to scoop up her enemies in her terrible claws"

We make lovely things by hand.

Could you buy something so we can pay for our Christmas packaging?

Thanks a mill.

Hello it's me the leader of the party full of landlords that has been in power your whole adult life and created the housing crisis we now refuse to resolve.

I'm here to tell you it's actually the foreigners' fault.

My favourite Hiberno-English-ism isn't any of the obvious ones, it's the fact that when we say "sallow" we mean the opposite of what everyone else means. It's not sickly yellow, it's healthy, positive

Settled into some sort of imperfect body neutrality until I saw a brief candid clip of myself recently and have been reeling from how I look in it ever since, a mixture of horror at realising how everyone else sees me and pleasure at the terror it must instill in the blackened hearts of my enemies

(Also I do think that people often just aren't comfortable with the fact that it is reasonable to feel lonely/sad and to want a partner when one doesn't have one, and that what people need is that being acknowledged rather than the suggestion that if they did more it wouldn't be a thing)
