A limestone rock riddled with burrows made by Wrinkled Rock-borers (Hiatella arctica). Bivalves that dig out burrows in which they spend their lives.
This stone has been cast up on the shoreline by winter storms - giving us a chance to see these creatures, normally only found below the low tideline

A fossilized Communal Coral and a Solitary Rugose Coral. Remnants of the tropical sea bed that covered this area over 300 million years ago.

An old iron Bobbin - used on trawling gear by fishermen during the 70s and 80s. They still occasionally wash up after big storms.

A piece of a Common Piddock (Pholas dactylus) shell. The corrugated outer surface helps it burrow into soft rock types (like shales, and limestone).
