Here's an essay I wrote and read for The Business at the weekend about Tech CEOs and their silly little outfits

Tech Bros Fashion Stakes
Comedy Writer Aidan Fitzmaurice considers whether the uniform dressing that is so common in the tech bro world is so tech bros can bland in, or so they can stand out.

I had a tweet do good numbers before about how it'd be cool if, were the Aras under attack, Micheal D Higgins would snap into life with a lightsaber like Yoda in Attach of the Clones, somersaulting all over the place & whatnot.

Some far right heads found the post & said it was "typical of a Bugman"

Ivan Yates accepting he had done something wrong and underhanded would be the most shocking character turn of the decade, so I'm not sure what the point in having him on to do his usual "I did nothing wrong" bluster is
The Hole. It's time to put him in the Big Hole.

Watched "How To Frame Roger Rabbit" last night. An outrageously entertaining film, an one that still makes me go "HOW DID THEY DO THAT?!" every 5 mins

I haven't kept up with any aspect of the latest "BBC is biased!" scandal, nor the reasons the reasons the Director General just designed, but I'm fully sure it's all over some stupid shit that doesn't matter in any way

Honestly I am eating these White House renovations up. It's a perfectly formed running gag in a sitcom

Complain all you want but this is Progress, Ireland
The Government's new stated aim is to make it so unattractive for lawyers to take good cases against the State that they will stop. Not bad cases. Good ones. Successful ones. This new rule only applies if you *win* your case. Doesn't that worry anyone slightly?

Had a sneaky peak at my therapist's notebook last session, really regret doing so cause it just said "TWAT". 2 years of sessions and the only word she's written down about me is "TWAT"

It could at least say "TWAT IN RECOVERY"

Listen, using AI to create an ad and then having to make a fake behind the scenes video to pretend you made the ad yourself is just good smart efficient business.

Way more efficient than just shooting the ad yourself in the first place.
Mirroring the video here if you don't want to even humor going onto Twitter, but when it gets into the "process" section, there's so many red flags of them lying about the work they put into the commercial that reveal how much of this video is them trying and lying after the fact.

Fianna Fáil terrified of the idea of accountability, even when it's them investigating themselves
Fianna Fáil is bracing itself for a delay in delivering its internal review into its approach to the presidential election.

It was set out last month that the party would carry out a review into its chaotic presidential campaign following the shock departure of candidate Jim Gavin

When I'm thinking about things that scared me as a kid, I always forget the alien dressed up as a human woman in Mars Attacks
30th anniversary of MARS ATTACKS next year. If there's any cinema out there wanting me to host a screening, I'd love to. Been a fave since I first saw it on its release!

Fine Gael's "let's have a debate on immigration" dog whistling badly exposed here. The FG fella keeps insisting on a debate, & when Paul says ok, he pivots to asking for "a mature debate on immigration"

They can't let the debate actually happen cause it'll expose them as vey wrong & very racist
