I thought it might be useful to own the word “ woke, make it Australian & define it to help defend who most of us are.
Thus #Waussie - a woke Aussie.

This does not mean we can't mourn the victims of a horrific act of terrorism.
Intelligent, caring people & civilised society are entirely capable of doing both.
Please explain what you mean by 'chill down'? In what way?
It's possible and essential to denounce racism, terrorism, and punish perpetrators accordingly, without destroying democracy and moving even further towards authoritarian regimes.
Terrorism, such as occurred in Bondi, is abhorrent.
Peaceful protest is fundamental to democracy & not the cause of terrorism.
Banning peaceful protest takes society to a dark(er) place, including passive support for genocide.
