Ok, here’s my starter pack! go.bsky.app/4ASwaLv
Non-exhaustive list!

Thank you so much

Because of wonderful and kind folk like you!

Legend, thank you! :)

Champion, thank you! :)

He’s so close to his target of $15,000. Can some of you good folk help the very tired birthday boy get there before bed, which is rapidly approaching! Thanks for everyone’s support.

He's done it! And, in a time of 8:58:12!

He battled nasty asthma from a cold he's had all week, heat, & of course * 100 km * of running!

@scidocmartin.bsky.social & I couldn't be prouder parents.

Happy 18th, Rohan!

If you're able to donate to his mental health fundraiser, please do! Thanks :)

He’s super wheezy due to a cold, alas, but he’s sticking it out. He’s so tough.

He did his first 50km in 3:50:46!
It’s not an official time, but the under 20 record was 5:28:07.
Tomorrow, our son will embark on an extraordinary challenge for his 18th birthday. From 4am, he’ll start running towards his ultimate goal of 100km. He hopes to finish well under 10 hours. He’s raising $ for youth mental health. If you’d like to support his cause 👉 www.mycause.com.au/page/385454/...

33km, 1/3 of the distance, done!

27km done!

Thank you! :)

And he’s off!

Thank you

Thank you, and happy birthday!

PLEASE share this, far and wide. This kid has trained, relentlessly and meticulously, for over 6 months.

I'm sure they know, they just don't give a flying duck. But nevertheless, whoever proposed this nonsense and whoever approved it, should be embarrassed; it's genuinely moronic. Greenwashing at its most existential worst.

Just another industry-captured career politician, happy to support ecocide to maintain his power and privilege.

The absolutely moronic notions of 'offsets', 'no net loss' & 'like for like', on a finite planet with ecosystems that typically vary substantially across space, & take hundreds, sometimes thousands of years, to form. The sheer arrogance & ignorance of it all. Appalling, embarrassing & deceitful.

It is truly moronic. The people proposing this bs should be embarrassed.

They get it. They just don't give a flying duck!

We could, and I know this will sound controversial, just… not… destroy the environment in order to extract more coal.

They won't find ALL the hollows.
They won't be able to extract ALL the hollows.
Many hollows will break, while attempting to extract and relocate them.
Gliders won't use many of the relocated hollows.
Greater gliders WILL die.
This is a disgrace!
The utter sham of offsets, yet again...

“Destroying the equivalent of 40 MCGs worth of greater glider habitat and then attempting to relocate all hollows and claim this somehow offsets the harm to greater gliders is genuinely deluded, and contemptuous.” - me

Indeed, and it doesn't help that it's got its fair share of all too willing crumb maidens either.

War mongering? They are honouring dead athletes.

Absolutely!
