I said a year ago Trump was not choosing political martyrs wisely and not accounting for what tools defendants are accorded.

I want to triple down on that. I think we're about to see revenge of the defendants--starting with Marimar Martinez.

Marimar is a Montessori teacher. And holy hell, a hero!

The disapproval resolution over Trump's tariffs against Canada has passed the House, over Speaker Johnson's objections.

It now goes to the Senate - where it's passed before.

NEW: A page from Bondi's burn book. This is a list of the searches by Rep Jayapal of the unredacted Epstein files. That means the DOJ grabbed her search terms from the computers they set up for members of congress to view the Epstein files to use as ammunition. The photo is from Reuters.

Chris Mason failing to point out that Ratcliffe's immigration numbers were untruthful

Seems Ed Conway did not spot Ratcliffe's mistaken claim that population is up 12 million since 2020 is nonsense.

His response was just "you met Nigel Farage recently, didn't you". Instead of: that can't be right.

Since ICE’s Operation Metro Surge began in Minnesota in December, federal immigration agents have arrested some 4,000 people, according to the DHS. The result is an avalanche of cases filed on behalf of people challenging their imprisonment—and it’s pushing the US court system to a breaking point.

Remarkable: Trump's deranged threat to block the bridge connecting Detroit to Canada is backfiring, giving Dems a big issue in 2026 races in Michigan, which could help decide control of Congress.

Michigan Dems tell me they'll use this against Republicans big time:

holy shit -- Bondi's new tactic is refusing to answer Democratic questions, then using time during the next Republican questioner to smear the previous Democratic member and accuse them of being complicit in violence crimes
Trump’s DOJ tried to charge me with a crime simply for saying something they didn’t like. Think about that. This is after DOD already censured and threatened to demote me.

He wants to make an example out of me and scare Americans from speaking out against him. Don’t let it work.
NEGUSE: AG Bondi, that man works for you now, right? The man in that video from J6 yelling 'kill them!' at cops. His name is Jared Wise.

NEGUSE: And you expect hard-working police officers to believe you take law enforcement seriously?
