Bummer about the Canadian mix-curler results. But what a fun sport to watch.

Listen we want your labour (as cheaply as we can because good luck accessing unions as you’re tied to your employer to work here) oh and if you get hurt the gov of AB doesn’t really care.

Mixed doubles curling has to be the neatest sport in the Olymics. All strategy, virtually no take outs, and everyone being nice to each other. Love it.

Woah. Those Canadian Olympic outfits are well. Not good.

I think that is right, although I also firmly believe that this is something governments on the right are happy to let happen. The fact that this isn't treated as an emergency says a lot--and perhaps that a pox on all governments. But either way, the public system is on serious crutches right now.

This is a serious problem for public healthcare in Canada. If every government isn't treating this like the emergency it is, the public system doesn't stand a chance.

If you can't stand up for a fellow journalist when she's being ridiculously bullied and demeaned for asking a basic question of a public leader, you sure as hell aren't going stand up for anything as abstract as a national principle or ethos.

The sycophants and the utter lack of self-reflection (or honesty) about what that government and movement represented is utterly absurd. You would think that a newspaper with any self-respect would at least off counter-arguments to such manufactured history.

Oh, look—the Bank of Canada points to import costs, largely to do with our depreciated dollar, as one of the biggest drivers of food price inflation in the last year.
But don't worry—Poilievre will dismiss this when presented with these facts, and insist it's still imaginary taxes.

I'm always amazed the way Conservatives rehabilitate their worst leaders. Mulroney left office disgraced and destroyed his party. Yet today Conservatives hold him up as one of the great elites of the 20th century. We're seeing the same thing today on Harper.
