On Christmas Eve 1968, in Lunar orbit, the Apollo 8 crew took this photo: “Earthrise."

I'll never forget how inspiring the Apollo missions were to my brother and me as kids. They showed us what our country and humanity can accomplish when we work together toward a common goal.

Nothing better than being back home for breakfast with the family after a busy few weeks in Washington. Hope you’re all able to spend some time with family this holiday season, too.

The federal government should support the development of fusion energy, but the President of the United States should not personally benefit from it.

The Trump business empire’s expansion into nuclear fusion is alarming ethics experts who warn it poses glaring conflicts of interest and risks the federal government playing favorites in what has been...

Your energy costs will continue to rise because this President believes some nonsense about wind energy.

AI has the potential to transform our economy, but we need to make sure workers and students are ready. I’m glad schools are thinking about how to make sure students use AI as a tool and not a crutch.
What It Means for a High School Graduate to Be ‘AI-Ready’
Students should learn how to use AI to solve problems, new "Profile of an AI Ready Graduate" says.

This Administration is failing to comply with the law and fully release the Epstein files. The victims deserve justice, and those responsible deserve to be held accountable, but Trump is purposely standing in the way of all of it.

Trump can keep saying the economy is getting better and prices are going down, but Americans aren’t buying it.

Anyone walking the grocery aisle or doing their Christmas shopping can see how Trump is raising their bills.

I took an oath to defend the Constitution, the rule of law, and our First Amendment rights. Which means I won't let this Administration silence me. Because in the Navy, we don't give up the ship.

Veterans like Sylvia know what’s at stake. We swore an oath to the Constitution, not a person.

It’s outrageous Trump is locking up hardworking community members like Kelly Yu while pretending he’s focused on real criminals.

I met Kelly at the ICE detention center in Eloy. She’s a small business owner who’s only ever made this country stronger. She should be freed.
West valley political leaders say Supreme Court ruling should free Peoria sushi shop owner from ICE detention
Kelly Yu has been in immigration detention for over six months. A pair of political leaders from opposite sides of the aisle say that fact should free her.

Let me be clear: Congress authorizes any military action into Venezuela, not the president. I'll keep holding the Administration accountable for their actions.

Scams are increasing and becoming easier to fall victim to than ever before, and older Americans are most at risk. I introduced a bill to direct the creation of a national strategy to protect everyone from scams.

It’s no longer an “if.” Premiums are going up because Republicans in Congress didn’t want to extend the ACA tax credits. Working families deserve better, and I’m not going to stop fighting to lower health care costs.

I learned about the DoD investigation by tweet, and I learned they’re “escalating” it the same way last night. This just shows again how Pete Hegseth is not a serious person. And there's nothing he can do to stop me from fighting for this country.

What kind of person, let alone a President, reacts to the murder of an American this way?

As Hanukkah begins, I’m thinking of the victims of the horrific attack in Sydney. The Jewish community has always been resilient, but this shows we all must continue standing together against antisemitism.

Gabby and I hope everyone celebrating Hanukkah can find peace and light.

In America, we hold ourselves to a higher standard, and we can’t let this President or Secretary of Defense corrupt that. I’m grateful for Jeff Flake’s moral clarity.

More strongman moves from a weak President. Good to see these legislators reject the threats of violence and retribution. They stood up to the bully and did what they believed was right. That's how leaders should act in a Democracy.

I’ve been through a lot worse than anything Donald Trump or Pete Hegseth can throw at me. And I'm not backing down, because this isn't about me — it's about you and every American's First Amendment right.
December 11, 2025 at 12:26 AM
There's a lot you could say about this unhinged, late night rant from the President. But the most reckless part is how easily he throws around the word "seditious" whenever someone says something he doesn't like. It undermines our democracy and puts people in danger.

If you’re a billionaire or one of Trump’s family members, then this economy is great.

For everyone else, prices are up, wages are flat, and families are getting screwed.
