We all know big corporations have too much influence in Washington. I've never taken a dime of corporate PAC money because Arizonans need to know their elected leaders are working for them. We need to put people first and get corporate money out of politics.

Data centers are driving up energy demand. Tech companies need to do their part to modernize and expand our energy infrastructure so Arizonans aren’t footing the bill, because affordable utilities aren't negotiable.

Across the country, ICE raids are being carried out with excessive force, little transparency, and devastating consequences for families. When enforcement looks like a military operation and accountability is absent, people get hurt and trust in law enforcement breaks down.

Arizona gets more sun than almost anywhere in America. We should be the solar energy capital. Renewable energy like solar means lower energy bills and more good-paying jobs, but Trump is gutting these investments.

Growing up, I watched my mom sit down at the end of every month and figure out which bills to pay. My parents both worked as full-time police officers, all while raising my brother and me. Two people in public service who were doing everything right, and still had to choose.

Every hardworking American deserves a fair shot, not just those at the top. The system is rigged in favor of the wealthy, and it's far past time we fix it. The middle class built this country, they shouldn't have to struggle just to get by.

Big, profitable corporations often pay a lower tax rate than ordinary people like teachers and firefighters. Small businesses are paying more while massive corporations use loopholes to pay nothing.
Let’s close those loopholes and make corporations pay their fair share.

Americans are frustrated about high prices, and this Administration is only making things worse. You can’t claim to fight for families while backing tariffs that raise prices or rolling back protections for consumers. The only people Trump is fighting for are billionaires.

Corporate landlords are pricing families out of homeownership and affordable rent. We need to crack down on Wall Street buying up homes and driving up costs, and make it easier for working families to buy a house and afford rent.

Twenty-three years ago today, seven astronauts never made it home when we lost space shuttle Columbia. It was a tragedy that changed space exploration and reminded us of its incredible risks. I think about their families every Feb. 1st. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Seniors earned their Social Security and Medicare benefits by working and paying into the system. Receiving those benefits isn’t up for negotiation.

Right now, too many seniors around rural Arizona don’t have reliable access to the food assistance they need. I just introduced a bipartisan bill to fix this, because where you live shouldn’t determine whether or not you can get food on the table.

Even as the cost of health care, groceries, and rent are skyrocketing for working families, Trump and Republicans are giving billionaires massive tax cuts. We need to take back the House and the Senate to elect people who will focus on working families and lowering costs.

40 years ago today, we lost seven heroes aboard Challenger. As an astronaut who commanded the space shuttle after this tragedy, I think about them often. Their courage pushed the boundaries of exploration. Today, we remember their sacrifice and the legacy they left behind.
