A new beginning

Buy a Stata license and you are half way there.
To be perfectly honest I absolutely hate the CERCs (Canada Excellence Research Chairs) program.

You would need to be awake 24/7 to spend that much money over the 8 years, seriously.

You wouldn’t even have enough time in your days to be able to spend that much money (wisely, anyways).

Ahh, the well-known Bari-to-Streisand pipeline.
to Bari (verb): To attempt to bury a damaging political story—only to amplify it massively by drawing attention to the act of censorship itself.

Example:

“They tried to Bari the segment, but it got Streisanded and everyone watched it twice.”

It could’ve been so much better.

Because of rampant antisemitism, Candace Owens is losing all of her NSF and NIH grants.

It literally isn't.

This is the landing place for UWaterloo Canada Impact+ Program. It is *characteristically* vague.

My offer stands, reach out and I will direct you to the right people when the program becomes active, not the impersonal email suggested on the site.

3. It doesn’t appeal to academic authority, it is not back up by solid research, and it is oversold.

She taxed 50% of one billionaire already!

A lot of people moralizing and pontificating on this.

People, you don’t need to find an angle to showcase your indignation.

You can be happy, it’s ok.
It's happening! Canada launched two programs to recruit international researchers.

Interesting list of what the 1 billion can be spent on

Oh man, I just realized the B and N are dangerously close on a keyboard when you're typing "bigger."

My head is itchy just thinking about it. Honestly, I'd rather have almost any other type of outbreak in my kids' classroom.

Although I do not have ADHD, I imagine it is harder than just putting on blinders.

Well, that's where planning enters. Put the blinders on before it kicks.

Aeropress is so good! I like the spike in focus; it feels superhuman.

Hahahaha, that would be great.

That's kind of what I do. Decaf every day, which I never thought I would as a Colombian. But I prefer to have two days a week when I have to do one thing, and then use caffeine. And then over do it those days.
