THIS. This is why Bad Bunny evoked power distribution in the show. Tremendous racism against PR during 45
Remember that under the first Trump administration, Puerto Rico had to suffer through the longest power blackout in U.S. history bsky.app/profile/cost...
During his Administration, Hurricane Maria knocked out power to 1.5 million people in Puerto Rico and it didn’t get restored for ABOUT A YEAR! It was the largest blackout in U.S. history. This should be line one of any hurricane recovery political coverage. www.vox.com/identities/2...

Bad Bunny ends his Super Bowl halftime show in front of a sign reading "THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE"
When he gave the Grammy to that young boy who made everyone think of Liam…even if that wasn’t actually Liam, it was just the perfect way of cutting through all the bullshit.

Every kid impacted by this administration’s cruelty is another Liam.

Ugh ugh ugh

Screaming! I did not know!
Mad respect
Wait hold up...
Did Bad Bunny just give his Grammy to Liam Conejo Ramos the poor kid who was kidnapped by ICE? If so amazing

The sign beforehand said "Conejo" on it too

Just awful.

Now that Bad Bunny is done, we are signing off. The game is weak and the commercials are all terrible

Benito is a threat b/c he makes art so alluring and enjoyable you want to understand everything about it and then you end up learning about sugar and slavery and colonialism and the Taínos and Hawaii and then you probably have some thoughts of your own, and that's why art is powerful and dangerous

SO CRINGE

I don’t think he code switched once, for real. Respect. 🫡
Only one who got the ball into the end zone was Bad Bunny
Holding us accountable for the shameful failure to restore power to PR
The respect! I had literally just said Ricky danced so Bad Bunny could run and look who is here!

Let’s goooooooo!

This is why we are here

#BenitoBowl

So. Much. Worse.
You know you were all talking about it and it’s still so much worse than I thought it would be.
Here’s that “Good Will Dunkin’” #SuperBowl commercial:

The #Dunkin ad was disturbing and sad. Will never eat there again.

NO. More. AI.

Crypto advertisements are never gonna beat the allegation that crypto is a Ponzi scheme.

LOL true

The Super Bowl ads are terrible. Too much AI? Just nothing interesting

On AI:

I may use it as a tool.

I will never use it to think or create.

I never want to read books, listen to music, or look at art produced by AI.

So angry
This years Super Bowl ads are all sponsored by the buy nothing movement

Nurses are absolutely professionals.

Public comments needed!

The admin wants to define grad programs in many "helping" fields (social work, nursing, teaching, etc) to no longer be "professional" degrees. This would mean major student loan restrictions: only $20,500/year. Tuition alone is often more.
