To be clear, “standard protocol” is to immediately put agents involved in a deadly shooting on administrative leave, not wait five days while calling the victim a domestic terrorist.

Not sure how anyone can claim Trump is pivoting after Alex Pretti’s murder when days later there’s not even basic admission that (1) this should never have happened, (2) those responsible must be held fully accountable, or (3) there’s a clear need to rein in ICE’s tactics.

It's not quite the most pressing issue at the moment, but the American people absolutely have a right to know the names of the federal officials who shot and killed a man peacefully protesting, who was on his knees, prone in the street when they shot him in the back.

It’s clearly embarassing, but removing Greg Bovino from his role isn’t nearly enough. People who abuse power like this should be permanently ostracized from society. He shouldn’t be allowed to even walk into a store without feeling the full force of the public disgrace deserved.
