Reminder: In light of Bad Bunny's Superbowl performance spotlighting Latino culture, here's a hefty list of Latino speculative fiction authors I curated if anyone wants to take a gander and read some phenomenal work. Much love to all!

I want to sincerely thank @graze.social for hosting my #SBLX feed today as well as @bsky.app's team for giving access to the new "Live" feature.

On no other platform can a community member build the algorithm for an event as big as the Super Bowl, so to be a part of this moment feels truly special.

Next time somebody tries to get me to justify the existence of the humanities, I’ll just point out how for the past two Super Bowls we’ve all jumped online and engaged in collective semiotics and hermeneutics of the half-time show as text.

White peoples' dogs occupy a higher position in the social order than most BIPOC. Been sayin this for years.
I tell you what, Ring figured out exactly how to weaponize white people’s empathy in service to a corporately controlled surveillance state.

Tell them it will find your dog.

This halftime show proves that even now, art defined by identity, colored by history of oppression, & centered in love is not only deeply powerful, but can also be widely accepted & beloved by a global audience.

Despite what the state tells us, the arc of history is still bending towards justice.

As a former Coloradoan I’ve had a longstanding grudge against the Seahawks after the Broncos were absolutely obliterated by them in the 2014 SB

Rooting for them now felt like something was healing in my soul

It was transforming the biggest NFL stage in the world into a sugar cane plantation that did it for me.

Like, the multiple layers of turning an American icon into a plantation and highlighting the history of exploitation of Black and Brown bodies by the NFL and American colonialism simultaneously?

What Kendrick did last year was in continuity with what Bad Bunny’s performance did this year, but let’s be VERY clear: Kendrick was articulating a specifically Black experience of oppression in a US/American context while using Sam Jackson as a foil for white supremacy itself.
And Kendrick last year...

#BadBunny did it for all of us.

Great art is often political. And it’s quite the needle to thread when you create great political art on the biggest and most commercial stage on the planet.

The last two half time shows are just that. Especially compared to the boomer rock halftime shows of the last 20 years.

Race is a social reality.

Social networks are how we bring our social realities online.

Solidarity forever with Rudy, the Blacksky team, and the Blacksky community.

They’re doing the work for and with their community. What are you doing for yours?
in Berlin back in September 2025 at the Cypherpunk retreat I told @tessa.germnetwork.com and @markmx.bsky.social ”I got opps in this very room right now” while we were dining

September 2024 I was doxxed by white supremacists.

My work has made me many enemies.
