Visit the new Milan Olympics Feed if you're interested in joining it, and viewing Olympics related posts from others who have opted in to participate. No pressure!

This uses a keyword list, so it won't display everything you post, but if it needs more or less keywords, let me know!
I'm not promoting it, or tying it to labels or adding individual contributors, but I have set up a news filter to catch DHS Shutdown news. I'm still fine-tuning. Just FYI if it's useful to anybody rolling into Friday's deadline.

The Blue Zone is for caramelizing only! Do not chop in the Blue Zone!
totally enthralled by this oven mitt with an onion sitting on it at LAX with the words “2. Keep important medications with you” over it. I took dozens of photos

This doesn't require a bunch of attention, but maybe just tuck away in the back of your head that any feed not organically from bsky has to be refreshed when you visit it, so it will show you current posts. It doesn't just spontaneously fetch new stuff.

Weird milestones in bsky history! First bsky user animated gif to make it through the approval process to be usable on bsky.

I just wish we could actually make animated gifs our profile photo.

I think everybody on hold to talk to customer service should have an option to go into a big party line where we can all bitch about the company with each other.

You know what I AM against deporting people accused of committing violent crimes. Because that's not how a presumption of innocence works. I am in favor of deporting people convicted of seditious conspiracy, so I guess I'm not really a purist on immigration policy.

I mean, I've always been like this, so if you're annoyed that I want to hit some arbitrary number like likes of yardcrow, push on, brave warrior.
Wooo. 500. Now the secrets of the universe should unlock to me.

It's just as grammatically correct a headline to say that a Republican majority in the Senate declined to offer a workable bill, as it is to say Senate Democrats refused to move ahead with one.

I mean they're both biased ways to cast it, but maybe editors could switch it up sometimes?

well, that's enough of that fucking gremlin. Nick Fuentes is on to the muted words list. Please AltText his name on his bullshit if you share screencaps of his drivel.

A reminder that @yardcrow.com has a WIKI feed where you can find some posts about the wacky ways I'm over-complicating labels and feeds! Let me know if you want anything explained, and I'll add to it.

I'm just absolutely done with gendered sports. So much bullshit. I think future generations will look back at this as complete nonsense.

If you want to divide up sports then fine, use weight, height, or just handicap abilities to move people around into fun teams, or just let people compete.

A year of detention for attending a protest is not only a violation of the first amendment, but cruel and unusual punishment, in clear violation of the 8th amendment. At this point, they might as well house DHS staff in detainees houses, and try to go for a bingo.

When you share tiktok links, you're sharing your account information in that link, and when someone clicks that link, they're being tracked and associated with you.

Maybe you know this. Maybe you don't. Maybe you care. Maybe you don't. I just think everyone should be aware!

An old Danny Kaye movie reference sparked a memory of my grandmother who absolutely adored him.

He was a prolific fundraiser for the Democratic Party, and would invite grassroot organizers to Hollywood parties. She didn’t have any pictures with him. She said she wouldn’t have wanted to bother him.

It's so incredibly sad reading about new discoveries about the underground railroad and realizing that people are out there building a new underground railroad to supply and move people targetted for violence and detention by the state today based on their race.

Imagine how much more beauty, splendor, and excitement men's Olympic ski jumping could have if all of the men had bigger dicks.
Artificially Large Skier Penises Should Stay Legal | Defector
To ski jump is to momentarily become a god. The track is narrow and slick, and the athletes plummet down the sloped hill at almost 60 mph. They leave the track and take up, up, up into the sky, where…
