I saw one squirrel chasing another squirrel and when it caught up the little rascal began to fly! I thought, is this a Superman-Lois Lane type situation?

Alas, the chasing squirrel was indeed a falcon.

Still exciting…except for Lois.

Holy shit! That’s awesome!!

I read Revival and it was very good! Once you read it, we can talk about one of the most terrifying scenes I’ve ever read.

Go read a little something by @stephenking.bsky.social! It’s always fun, and this little game is also fun!

Climate change hits hardest poor people in hot places.

We need to help them not be so poor and help them not be so hot.

Neither climate change, nor malaria, nor malnutrition will decimate civilization.

Nevertheless, we need to solve all of these problems.

Quite a bit. Things with gin and tequila like a purple margarita or a blue moon. I also combine it with empress gin, the purple one, so it’s a nice color.

We just run out, that was our last bit of creme de violette. But we like it, so we keep it in store.

Two main points. 1. Musk's shenanigans hurt Tesla, but increased demand for other EVs, which is a good thing in the long term. 2. It has material implications for Net Zero policies in the short term.

Yes it is!

We’ve received the greatest honor today.

We were bestowed Best Halloween Decoration by a little kid, whose identity, like those of the best critics, remains unknown.

We could get rid of half of the radiative forcing of climate caused by aviation if we could get airlines to stop making contrails, mostly by flying a few thousand feet higher or lower.

For the same magnitude of LW and SW forcing at the altitude of aviation-induced cirrus, climate sensitivity is larger when the forcing is imposed at high latitudes For the same change in concentr...
