A neighbor responded to a quip I made about the Pres being a pedo with “those were fully developed girls.”
Keeping my distance from her now.
OMG, as a father, allow me to emphasize it is not ok for adult men to be into teen age girls, and if you are an adult rationalizing “15 year olds” as somehow ok:

You are gross

You need help

Stay the hell away from my children or my students

CTCRE & @ucsfcancer.bsky.social hosted the annual Tobacco & Cancer Control Scientific Trainee Retreat in Sept! We were fortunate to be joined by Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn, 2009 Nobel Laureate in medicine, who delivered the keynote conversation and thoughtfully answered questions from our fellows.
To recap: Trump is spending money Congress never appropriated to pay federal employees with guns, and cutting programs and grants even when Congress has appropriated funds.
They literally have a contingency fund for SNAP that they are refusing to use.
No Speaker has done more to weaken Congress.

Glad to see my alma mater issuing a clear statement about the Trump administration's attempt to control universities. (My current employer wasn't asked, but we know what they would say - a firm no!)
MIT President Sally Kornbluth just issued a statement to the campus community saying NO to Trump’s authoritarian compact

“And fundamentally, the premise of the document is inconsistent with our core belief that scientific funding should be based on scientific merit alone.”

One of my kids is quite fearful for the big insurance premium increase they'll have to absorb - they work for a small nonprofit and health insurance costs have been a killer as it is.

Got my COVID-19 booster at 4pm yesterday.

Me at 6am: Wow, I don't feel too badly after this booster. Yay!

Me at 12pm: Can I cancel all my meetings for the rest of the day? I have all-over body aches.

Also me: This is way better than my last case of COVID and way way better than the shingles shot!
