The Fleury hire seems kinda odd. Really thought if they were going to hire externally they would go with someone with play calling experience. Seems to be a pretty respected guy but I'm at least a little surprised.

No words can accurately describe what a force of joy and positivity Tim was. He lit up every room he was in, made everyone smile and feel seen, and he was such an incredible musician. A ray of pure light. This is so heartbreaking.

The thing about the skeleton and the luge is that you have to learn whether you would be good at the skeleton or the luge, and I don't know how we don't hear about more people dying from finding out if they were good at the skeleton or the luge.

My grandpa spent most of his career at NCAR. When I got to meet a bunch of his former colleagues at his memorial, they were just the nicest, most obviously curious folks. The work they do is important. Gutting stuff, honestly.

The D-backs are a really tough team to get a grasp on. They're talented for sure, but I could see such a wide variety of outcomes for their 2026 season. 93 wins wouldn't shock me. 74 wins wouldn't shock me. Anything between wouldn't shock me.

Man, when I was a kid, NBA All-Star Weekend was everything. I hate that it's become...kinda a joke now. And I'm sure there are those who still love it and that's ok, but the consensus seems to be with me that it's no longer relevant.
