Hogan’s Heroes doesn’t have much cache in the UK but I used to watch it on a backwater cable channel with my dad as a kid. It felt like an American accompaniment to ‘Allo ’Allo to me. Would love to see it repeated again over here

When I was a kid, my dad had a baseball cap with Colonel Klink from Hogan’s Heroes on it, just like a full straight up depiction of Werner Klemperer’s face on a baseball cap that said “Colonel Klink” on the back. Why would he have that? Why was that thing made? I need to ask him.
