It turns out complaining about the lack of defence spending and the need to do our part in supporting our neighbours and their capitalist interests has always been part of irish political discourse.

Looking forward to presenting this paper on my current book project @irishstudiesqub.bsky.social on Monday.

This UK Supreme Court decision is potentially momentous for the way religion is taught in schools on Northern Ireland. as the situation currently stands it amounts to indoctrination’ - not a word lawyers lightly throw around. A pluralistic Northern, and future Shared, Ireland needs a new approach.
