Weirdly my favorite thing about the new iPhone is the little part around the front camera that shows what app is running in the background

I feel bad for anyone who didn’t have Listen Without Prejudice Vol I drop their sophomore year in college.

In a way it's like the second version of Anchorman 2 they released made up entirely of alternate takes, but for The Way of Water.

He clearly had an overflow of characters, settings, and themes, so he just fully abandoned normal story structure and made the whole thing a rolling chase scene guided by James Cameron action movie pacing and staging instincts. The more you think about it the weirder (and better) it seems.

20 years ago James Cameron figured out how to use CGI, motion capture, 3D cameras, and high-frame-rate cinematography to create incredibly immersive spectacles, and today the list of directors who can do the same is...still just James Cameron.
"It is logically impossible to simultaneously be evil, corrupt, and incompetent" is an absolutely amazing take to have in the year of 2025

It’s interesting that Connections is a very popular game played by millions of people who are consistently bad at it.

The United States government sold an innocent Venezuelan college student to a Central American torture prison and CBS News doesn't want you to know.

From October 2025: “I might invoke Edward R. Murrow, but they remember him. They don’t have any goodwill toward you. They don’t know who you are at all. And they are not going to defend you when you screw up.”

Only about 220 (I've been weaning myself off em-dashes)

I just converted my book manuscript from Google Docs to MS Word to submit to my publisher (woo hoo!) and the word count increased from 101,000 to 106,000. What even is truth / reality?

I don't think the civics association has any business meddling with a site that's for all intents and purposes in Clarendon, but in fairness that park is open to the public--it's just privately maintained.

No lie, when I read that book I was reminded of Thick.
this is one of the most psychotic things Trump has ever posted

Pretty crazy that Musk willfully killed 100,000's of people *earlier this year* yet Corporate Media still regularly talks about him without mentioning that.
