You have to learn how to probe, how to uncover, how to read against the grain, how to find unusual sources, how to interpret those sources. How to piece together a puzzle

Oh I don't think we can blame the use of AI on rush to productivity. There's been publish or perish paradigm for decades. This just makes me think a lot of academics don't actually enjoy their jobs and are just phoning it in. Which makes me so mad considering how many junior people can't get jobs.

In an interview with my colleague David Leonhardt this week, Khanna explained that he had gotten the phrase from voters who asked him if he was on the side of “forgotten Americans” or “the Epstein class.”
