I deeply resent the current regime has me writing protest songs. It’s pretty good though, imo. You should watch the video and do the YouTube interactions (like/comment etc.). First song I’ve written on the baritone ukulele rather than the piano.

Predictable but still amazing to watch people who spent literally years accusing every librarian, teacher, and trans person they could find of sexually grooming children suddenly throw themselves in with "actually it's ephebophilia"
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

8 years of "What is a woman?" and now it turns out that the comeback was "define a child"

Again it’s not good that the most prominent leaders of the party keep insisting it’s a trap to talk about “identity” when the Trump administration is pushing white supremacy.
Speaking at a Texas Tribune Festival on Friday, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg criticized the Democratic Party for failing to reach everyday Americans, arguing that it “got sucked in” to a conversation about identity. #TribFest25
Pete Buttigieg critiques Democrats for focus on identity
The former U.S. transportation secretary said the Democratic Party should focus more on issues gripping the country, such as health care and housing affordability.

Whigham, Shannon, Offerman and Whitford are top-shelf male acting talent. MacFadyen is an uncanny half-brother to both young JK Simmons and young Titus Welliver. Alas, DBL writes James Garfield as Lincoln times Gandhi, making him boring.
Shea Whigham as Roscoe Conkling is such insanely good casting that you have to be at my intersection of Character Actor Sicko and History Sicko to fully appreciate but fortunately that's like hundreds of thousands of people on here

November 12, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Yeah as @johnrogers.bsky.social has suggested, we’re going to get the second Irish civil war or umpteenth Lebanese civil war instead
We won't even get a second American Civil War. Just decades of Bleeding Kansas.

this is so silly. people know the deal with bond. the writers should just embrace the metatextual aspects of the franchise
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

It kills me to acknowledge Robert E. Lee was probably right that, while the West was by far the more important theater of the Civil War in military terms, the East was far more important politically.
