I’d like* to see ICE come try this shit in Albuquerque‘s International District.

* Not really. I’d like to see ICE disbanded
I've seen refugee aid efforts defeat multi-year occupations by regional / national police forces who deployed 30x the amount of resources. Hell I've been part of that.

It is *very* possible.

ICE's budget has a limit.
Make them use it.

ICE's morale has a limit.
Make them lose it.

Expect to see a surge of proud ignorance and proplawganda about what you can say about ICE agent Jonathan Ross, identified by local media as the person who shot and killed Renee Good.

In particular, expect a repeat of Rittenhouse-era “accusing him of murder is defamation” rhetoric.

It’s not.

I am impeaching Secretary Kristi Noem, who is an incompetent leader and a disgrace to our democracy.

She wreaked havoc in the Chicagoland area and has brought her reign of terror to Minneapolis. One of her rogue ICE agents shot and killed an innocent woman today. It must come to an end.

By "Everything Trump touches", does this anonymous Dem mean "crimes"? Because those two are pretty much the same in practice. And yes, "[crimes] must be bad" is axiomatically true, regardless of whether it is "the base" saying it.
Some Democrats hate that their party is largely positioning itself in opposition to the operation that resulted in Maduro's capture.

"Everything Trump touches must be bad according to the base," one House Dem told @axios.com

Said another: "It looks weak." www.axios.com/2026/01/04/m...

A Hampton Inn in Asheville just canceled my family's reservation because our address (incorrectly) showed Asheville—and the hotel bars locals within 50 miles.

When I asked why, they said, "because of our homeless population," adding that most hotels here have similar policies.

This is outrageous.
