Someone told me lately "Bluesky is just like Twitter." I argued that was untrue on the basis that last time I had a Twitter account most times I got a new follower their bio said "single & looking for fun" & here when I get a new follower it tends to say something like "professor of rare moths".

I find the whole Heated Rivalry buzz so incredibly fascinating from a societal point of view.
Something so depressing about the fact heterosexual relationships are so fraught and freighted that heterosexual women want to read/watch M/M gay romance to get the sex bits they want without the baggage.

Definitely interesting how dogshit the cover art for the new full cast potter adaptations is. I’d send it back, the goblet isn’t even symmetrical!

I think in quite fundamental way the career politician/journalist/think tank nexus doesn’t understand what are quite core everyday experiences of some classes of people. We talk about this all the time wrt working class people but it’s also now true of the professional classes.

Re-upping this for the Monday crowd... I think my favourite, most revealing detail is that the guy seems to not realise he's in trouble because London Centric's reporting didn't hit anything like his view counts, so therefore it can't really matter.
Hate-filled fake videos about London are everywhere. We've obtained a recording of a TikToker confessing to secretly filming Londoners in their homes for clicks.
He says it's not political. He just wants to make money from far-right anger.
