that being said i got the trailer for The Testament of Ann Lee and i'm really looking forward to that one for my period drama fix, because 1. weird religious musical 2. love Amanda Seyfried 3. i wanted to see Hamnet but on principle i refuse to see any movie that uses that one max richter track

"Wuthering Heights" was genuinely so awful lol and i've never even read the book so went in with no expectations
not even awful in a campy kinda way, just kitschy and bad and the emotional and artistic depth of an early 2000s perfume ad meets a gwen stefani music video
