Today, the Senate of Virginia’s Democrats passed SB 1 to raise the minimum wage from $12.77 this year to $15 in 2028 and index that to inflation.

I spoke about how a FT worker should be able to afford a studio apartment in Manassas Park. A minimum wage earner can’t even qualify for one right now.
