Absolutely impossibly to understand why this article would be spiked. Apparently a complaint by the fringe group AJA, reasons unexplained, was enough but I can't see what even they would find objectionable.
On Wednesday the Sydney Morning Herald published an opinion piece by Cumberland City councillor Ahmed Ouf about Muslim-Jewish solidarity in the wake of Bondi.
