They need to listen to my podcast (cough cough The Bond We Share cough cough) 😜

haha what?

this is like worrying that you’ll have to explain Bond’s new face, or why he hasn’t aged past 35 since the Cuban Missile Crisis, or what happened to that nice lady he met in the last one
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

I'm honestly starting to think Americans are going to end the decade with either universal health care or malaria.

I saw this woman a lot during my “tune in to X so you don’t get your hopes up too high” election adventure. Terrible person if you ask me
Self-described “moderates” and mainlining right-wing bullshit and lies. Name a more iconic duo.

Few things have made more more mad over recent months than the attention given to this while the Supreme Court is actually taking step after step to make life more difficult for trans and nonbinary people.

Like, this actually happened last week — in an unsigned order.
SCOTUS lets Trump administration implement anti-trans, anti-nonbinary passport policy
The Democratic appointees, led by Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, dissented. The ruling, which applies during litigation, effectively reverses two lower court rulings.

Let me be clear: if Chuck Schumer caves tonight, that will be the formal end of his career in Democratic politics.

The new generation coming into leadership has no tolerance for cowards.

been doing some light reading about the aftermath of the korean dictatorship and I think it's really important that we repeat this to ourselves, to our friends, to our neighbors, to our politicians

He said that the agents would throw food at them to eat. The agents threatened to withhold food for a week and to beat him up if he didn't sign deportation papers. He said he saw others refuse and get beaten/receive no food. He signed because he was afraid.

the way the Trump admin’s handling the shutdown and SNAP is almost mesmerizing at this point. As a plan to let miserable stuff happen and blame it on Democrats, it’s like hearing someone backstage who doesn’t know their mic is on
I've added this update to my story about the ongoing torture of SNAP recipients:

"Jonathan Chait" were the first words I muted on this website for a reason.
A "modest margin" when Mamdani beat his next closest challenger by 8 points in a three-person race. Trump won by just 1.5% and it was played off as a seismic realignment of American politics and culture.
Damn, I hate it when things that happen mean nothing :-(
