“It’s impossible to reboot Bond” says production team who decided Bond first got his licence to kill in the 21st Century, as Daniel Craig, then got incredibly old within two films and was being put out to pasture, but also had Sean Connery’s 1960s car.

Not really your point but I just want a standalone story. And no going rogue. Hand him a dossier. Send him on a mission.

To which I say “It’s Bond mate. Nobody cares about the lore.
Bond's first outing in Dr. No was released in 1962, where he was meant to be in his mid 30s.
He has appeared as seven entirely different people since then and should now be in his 90s. Get on with it.”

There is no continuity in the Bond series… at least not when the actor changes. To suggest otherwise is… really dumb
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Wow, had no idea this existed. A 1948 radio show about A Streetcar Named Desire winning the Drama Critics Circle Award featuring scenes performed by the original Broadway cast including Jessica Tandy as Blanche. Tantalizing and invaluable glimpse at how she played it.

There are a bunch of people who I’m vaguely aware of but only remember them by “good” or “bad” and forget the reasons why.
I see JCO is now good. Why I thought she was bad, I do not recall.
If I spent the time looking, she’d probably be bad again by the time I worked it out.

The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

Still processing the inanity of this cave, like, "We're going to make Republicans go on record that they want to destroy the ACA." You mean the motherfuckers who radicalized in opposition to it & voted to repeal it, like, 22 times? You're finally getting them on record? Really impressed over here
“If Schumer really wanted to use his considerable influence and leverage to stop this, he could have done that,” a senior Democratic Senate aide tells Zeteo. “He didn’t.”
Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

Fine, I'll do it: Rep. Ro Khanna, a member of the Medicare for All and Congressional Progressive Caucuses who represents Silicon Valley, is the first sitting Democratic congressperson to demand the resignation of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
