The FBI was able to access Washington Post reporter Hannah Natanson's Signal messages because she used Signal on her work laptop. The laptop accepted Touch ID for authentication, meaning the agents were allowed to require her to unlock it. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

I find it kinda astonishing all these people who have spent so many years in public life, many of them media/ PR pros, didn’t think to get ahead of these stories. Did they really think it’d never come out? Bowles & Weiss never thought to mention it to ‘Free Press’ subscribers?

The thing that shocks me most is that all of this incriminating stuff was sitting at the DOJ for 4 years and Biden & Garland were not cynical or ruthless enough to use it against Trump & Musk in the run up to 2024.
