Meh. You decide who and what you follow. You do not have to "witness the horrors". You are not being forced to, and the reason the horrors are in your feed is because you've chosen to have them there. If you think witnessing the horrors is somehow your duty, then that's on you. But it's a choice.

Just on birds and dinosaurs generally, it's only in the last ten years or so that we found out that flight evolved more than once independently in dinosaurs. Evolution was experimenting with flight all over the place 150 million years ago (and with varying degrees of success). Feathers won.

There are few people who hate cars as much as I do, and there is way too much space given to car parking, especially in America, but also in every place I've ever lived. However, this isn't a fair comparison. Even if there's evidence for the claim, the claim itself is nonsensical.

I will spend at least some of the day thinking about my grandmother's achievements. Wonderful woman and one of the laziest people ever to have lived. Her main achievement was tripping on a paving stone and breaking her wrist. She sued the council, won, and never had to work again. Aspirational.
