got fully in my feelings about Indiana winning the national championship, the greatest story in college football history.

If Indiana can do it, we can do it
If Indiana can do it, we can do it
It’s the greatest story in college football history. Maybe hope and belief aren't so naive.

as a Patriots fan you should not be in my mentions trying to convince me that your team is not a fraud. you should be celebrating the fact that your fraud team is going to the Super Bowl. the rest of us would kill for this
January 25, 2026 at 11:33 PM
the Patriots are going to the Super Bowl because the other team's backup QB dropped 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage and chest-passed the ball backwards

I actually think the conference championship games should be played at a frigid, possibly snowy neutral site every year. like the Rose Bowl but for Tough NFL Football

I cannot post my opinions about the New England Patriots in public

I am starting to think it might have been useful for Jarrett Stidham to play even a single snap of football at some point in the last two seasons

i keep going back and forth between despair at the terror the government is spreading, the lives they've taken and ruined, their impunity, their depravity, the total lack of reason for any of it

and then swinging back to my complete and total belief that in the end they are going to lose

I recently put together a list of essential @bsky.app starter packs for every major (and not-so-major) sport.

No one can check out this site and whine about a lack of sports anymore. No more excuses!

we've got the guy who thinks the government should be there to help you, and are eager to show all the ways they can do it

and the guys who think the government should be able to kill you and are eager to show all the ways they can do it
We're getting a snowstorm tomorrow. But New York City is prepared.

This was lovely and heartening in many ways. I can’t help but carry the feeling of how K-State was thisclose to being the long game of what Indiana did, with the rules and limitations of those times. 😔

Surely the Hoosiers mirror the 2014-15 Royals, and that was similar bliss.

hey i found somebody obstructing or interfering with a federal government investigation, i heard that's illegal according to that one law all the ICE guys have memorized
Breaking MS NOW:

Aides to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche directed the U.S. Attorney's office and FBI agents in Minnesota to shut down the civil rights investigation into the fatal shooting of Renee Good and instead alter it to probe Good for possible criminal liability.
DOJ sought to probe Renee Good for criminal liability, even after her death: Sources
A judge refused an FBI warrant that proposed investigating dead Minnesota mom for suspected assault on an officer.

I don't think this rule change is that big a deal and it will not lessen my enjoyment of college football in the slightest

can't speak for everybody but I literally never had any conversation like this at any job i've ever had
As someone who works in sports media, how much of a push is it just to say some clicky bullshit?
January 23, 2026 at 7:47 PM
Cam Newton might be the best college football player I've ever seen and the worst person in all of sports media at talking about college football, perhaps suggesting an inverse correlation between the two
Cam Newton: "Notre Dame hasn't been relevant in years."

Shae Cornette: "They were just in the national championship game one year ago"

honestly nice job by Bills management over the past week to take some of the heat off Josh Allen by making clear that outside of him they are one of the most poorly run franchises in the NFL
January 23, 2026 at 4:41 PM
They’re going to lose because this means nothing to them and everything to the people they’re terrorizing. They have to lie about what they’re doing just to get a few thousand losers to sign up to do it for signing bonuses, meanwhile an entire city is uprooting their lives to fight back for free
I know people keep saying this but it’s hard to communicate the depth of active resistance here. Like, I’m on random cafes and people are checking in for observation shifts. Signs everywhere. Folks in visibility vests on the corners. It’s wild. Absolutely wild.
