got fully in my feelings about Indiana winning the national championship, the greatest story in college football history.

If Indiana can do it, we can do it
If Indiana can do it, we can do it
It’s the greatest story in college football history. Maybe hope and belief aren't so naive.

Rutgers must be AI because i don't understand how they're making so much money and still losing so much money
Rutgers had a $78 million deficit for its athletic department for the 2024-25 season, according to a report by @ksargeantnj.bsky.social. The Rutgers athletic department has run a $516.9 million deficit since it joined the Big Ten in 2014-15.

again i endorse the idea of neutral-site conference championship games but only if it's an open-air stadium in the upper midwest to ensure our Super Bowl champs can win a snow game
Everyone hates the idea of neutral-site conference championship games. Until the fourth quarter of Patriots-Broncos, which was unplayable -- and unwatchable.
Should conference championships be played at neutral sites?
Patriots-Broncos snowstorm could dust off an old debate.

Zohran didn't just grow up in NYC, he grew up LITERALLY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD WHERE COLUMBIA IS LOCATED
he talked about the giant slices from Koronet Pizza on 111th and broadway in his inauguration speech!!!
also i literally don't think i ever had a snow day growing up in NYC lol.
I think it's really bad that the group that claims to speak for Jews at Columbia University is so grossly xenophobic.

Also - Mamdani did grow up in NYC.

THEY CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS
They can't keep getting away with this
The Patriots are AFC Champions after their only TD came when a backup QB backpedaled 20 yards and chest-passed the ball backwards AND I'M NOT MAD ABOUT IT AT ALL

funny how Donald Trump is the world's wisest and most brilliant man who comes up with every idea and outsmarts everyone he meets, the pinnacle of decisiveness and power, and yet he's also extremely susceptible to "bad advice"
Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) on CNN: “I think the death of Americans, what we're seeing on TV, it's causing deep concerns over federal tactics and accountability. Americans don't like what they're seeing right now. … [Trump’s] getting bad advice right now.”

borderline unbelievable fact(s):
—the NFL used to have a penalty for excessive crowd noise
—it was on the books until 2007

Seahawks kicked the XP down 5 points (instead of going for 2 to potentially cut the lead to 3) and then had to go for 4th-and-4 there

my actual taunting take is that the penalty should be the player being suspended for the rest of the quarter (or a full quarter, but you get the gist) instead of a massive yardage penalty on par with the most violent in-game infractions

my 1-year old son Torbert just looked me in the eyes and told me the taunting penalty on Tariq Woolen taught him the importance of sportsmanship and placing the team's needs above his own. he no longer wants to be a Drug Dealer when he grows up, he wants to be a philanthropist/referee
