Cool. We'll rebuild that. Bigger this time.

Fuck off MAGA.
Someone doused Renee Good’s Minneapolis memorial and a nearby pile of wood with gasoline and started a fire at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Damage was minimal but police are investigating.

His support seems to stem from one of two places:

1) The usual leftist "he is running as a true progressive, so anything in his background can be ignored" group

and

2) The MattyY "we have to elect regular people, and this means we have to ignore anything bad in their background" group

Uh, if I remember correctly churches of all kinds were critical to the Civil Rights movement.
So, I see Andy Beshear has a book out offering himself up as the latest Bible-thumping Dem (see James Talarico.) Folks, if you think competing for evangelicals is the Dem path to victory...no. If you think we need more religion in US politics...no. Religion in politics is a problem not a solution.

I *am* for open borders, but believing otherwise is not remotely close to fascism. Whatever your favorite liberal bastion on Earth is, it almost certainly has more draconian immigration laws than the US under Trump.

And yes, humans are afraid of crime, harm avoidance is why we have society.
Love the implication that anyone who is not for "open borders" and "prison abolition" (two concepts that are utterly meaningless in the first place) is a fascist. Amazing website

If AOC wins the primary the "donor class" such as it is already lost. The only reason Biden got forced out was (admittedly overwrought) worry about health; "She's a lefty woman" does not meet that threshold.
If you think for one second that if AOC wins the primary they donor class won't try to bounce her you're fucking kidding yourself

This, in my view, is one of the reasons why A Song of Ice and Fire hit the buffers. Martin wanted to do a 'realistic' medieval fantasy but he didn't want the bathos of 'and then one of the factions was defeated by what is now a curable illness'.
Yup! Numerous medieval kings died of ear infections
before antibiotics did people just die all the time from everything?

And it is. I was just as hard on people who didn't want to back Mamdani as I was on those who didn't want to back Harris. You. Vote. For. The. Democratic. Nominee.
Okay, but here is what is going to happen: mainstream candidates are going to win primaries, and if we say “vote blue no matter who,” people will accuse us of saying it as a secret trick to boost moderates. Establishing VBNMW NOW, before the primary, makes it clear the obligation is universal.
I'm not gonna entertain a single discussion about the general before the primary. All our focus should be on the primary & getting the people we want elected. Focusing on the primary is positive. Imagining possible bad choices in the general is self defeating at this point
February 18, 2026 at 3:37 PM
Maybe. I tend to think at that point the opposite happens -- you start to get people looking for a "normie" look, because looking okay but obviously untouched signals better than looking great with obvious fillers.
the price point already basically makes sense for much more widespread usage of invasive cosmetic procedures (relative to what people spend on non-invasive cosmetics already). i honestly would not be surprised if in twenty years most people can afford it are doing stuff like this
Guys, I’m hearing 6'5 Australian TERA-CHAD Androgenic has flown to U.S and BONESMASHMAXXED in order to HUNT down the ASU frat leader and engage in a MOG-OFF to avenge Clavicular after the
BRUTAL frame mog incident that took place last week.

One of the great indignities of modern society is having to make a case to an apathetic audience about why you or people like you might deserve equal rights and due process but you'd be surprised how often public discourse returns to that point in the USA.
Just fucking shun people who treat human rights as a debate topic. I don't care if it comes at a social cost to your cis ass, it comes at a much higher one to trans people.

Okay I’m just gonna say it. I think some of the confusion here might come because people are too politically unaware to realize the distinction between primary and general elections

Trump is the worst salesman you've ever run into at a used car lot.
RFK, jr. is the worst person you ever met at a party in california, patel is the worst guy you ever encountered at the gym, bondi is the worst person you ever met at church, bessent is the worst person you have ever met at a conference, all these people are the worst versions of every stereotype
they made the entire administration out of the worst person you have ever known in every situation, vance is the worst person you ever met in college

I would switch RFK to the worst person you’ve met at the gym ( jeans, not knowing what the hell he's doing, and being on HGH )

Patel is the worst person you've met at a party in DC. He acts like he's some super cop who's done all this stuff when in reality he couldn't even solve a game of Clue.

People in the past were as smart as we are, they just didn't know as much because they lived in the past and we as a species didn't know as much, but we live in the better world they helped to build. Hopefully the people of 7526 can say the same of us.

TERF Island, boy, I don't know.
I said I was considering a protest vote for the Greens (which I acknowledge makes no sense in a local election) and his response was "yeah, but the Greens don't know what a woman is" 🙄

So among other things, he's just straight up admitting to disobeying a direct order, right? I'm not saying he actually did, but that's what he's saying, right?
“Where are the terrorists, shithead?” is the extent of this man’s ability to question people.

Sorry the dude you picked up for mean mugging you didn’t rate actual targeting.

So many of these losers adopted a presence patrol and random potshot 20 years ago as a personality.

Pathetic.

The loudest climate groups exist to ratfuck Democrats. Sunrise Movement very clearly exists entirely to hurt Dems, if they didn't, they'd be occupying Mike Johnson's office.
Striking to me, and only me, that in AOC's appearances in Germany, there was not a single mention of/question about climate.

Something has been happening with activism around climate. Movement gets some wins under Biden, Trump throws them out, and... I just don't see much organizing around this.
