Guy who doesn't believe horses are real. He fully acknowledges that horses exist and people ride them around, he has touched horses before. He just doesn't believe that they are actually horses and not humans wearing horse costumes.

He believes real horses went extinct over a century ago.

RIP Dr. Linda Davis. She was killed when ICE caused a high speed chase that resulted in the crash that ended her life.

This is one difference between police tactics and ICE tactics: cops looked at the data, and determined that high speed chases are just not worth it for non-violent offenses.

The funniest part of this blog post is where Ars Technica had to retract an article because the authors used fabricated quotes generated by AI:

Yeah I graduated high school as a bi young woman in 1994 and started transition as a trans man in 2021 and I can only assume it's because I'm at home in an atmosphere of societal loathing and/or I hate peace.
HELLO I WAS A QUEER TEEN IN THE 1990s AND THE ARGUMENTS AGAINST SOCIAL TRANSITION NOW ARE INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM THE ARGUMENTS AGAINST "LETTING" US BE (at the time, for me) GAY OR LESBIAN THEN.

They all rest on the belief that it's inherently better to be straight (then)/cis (now) and that's BS.
Hilary Cass here arguing for children to be prevented from being known by a preferred name or getting a haircut in case it encourages them to continue later in life to transition.

Hilary Cass acts like gender variant children should have the transness hazed out of them.

If I were a Democrat concerned about winning elections and was hearing that a significant number of voters wouldn’t support Gavin Newsom in 2028, I would simply stop pushing Gavin Newsom in 2026.
look if you want to freak out about people not voting newsom if he's the nominee a week before the 2028 general election, I kinda get it (but don't say you weren't warned). doing it now though is just a weird attempt to strong arm people into supporting him in the primary.
I think most (not all) of the "I will never vote for Gavin Newsom" people are communists who are mad that Americans don't like communism and want to destroy the Democratic party out of revenge. They don't care how many elections Republicans win or how many trans people die as long as the Dems fall.

They want to scare people out of posting ICE-critical content, because they know these posts are turning even their supporters against them. But the better option is to take a page out of their playbook and flood the zone.
