I've only ever been in the back of an ambulance when transferring babies from peds for various things, so my brain is imagining a parent doing this while I keep their kid stable.

IMO if you actually want to use your expertise caring for people vs hoop jumping on a timer and hoping for the best this is the way. It also makes healthcare WAY more accessible. This is why I opted for community based training rather than going all in on a brittle/broken system.
