If there's one thing you can rely on Europeans for, it's to condescend to people from the U.S.
I am not here for Europeans telling me Americans don't know how crazy things are. The Nazis are killing people over here at the moment so we're busy but thanks for the input. I had hoped for solidarity but I suppose I'll have to settle for sneering condescension instead.

As an actual NY-er, this story feels like sour grapes b/c certain ppl wanted jobs in Mamdani's admin.
Personally, I don't care about individuals' careers in politics, and I resent that they tried to present THEIR gripes as representative of black NY-ers as a whole.
