I'm incredibly disappointed in Discord's decision to pre-comply with age verification mandates. Discord is one of the few "safe" spaces for communities to come together, especially those dealing with sensitive matters (like mental health). This decision will do harm.

In the last month ICE has bought warehouses in:

- Hagerstown, MD: $102 million
- Surprise, AZ: $70 million
- Hamburg, PA: $87 million
- Tremont, PA: $120 million
- San Antonio, TX: $82 million
- El Paso, TX: $123 million
- Social Circle, GA: price unknown

This is unprecedented.

As the article mentions, some firms are opening up their hiring portals in November of first semester 1L. I've heard anecdotes of hiring occurring even before that. Awful

The new Biglaw approach of hiring 2L summer associates based on 0 or 1 semesters of law school grades is bonkers. Deploying multiple hiring windows is a tiny step in the right direction, but we need systemic reform

1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧡

Three-time Trump voter: I'm looking at this awful picture of the Obamas. What an embarrassment to our country. He is not worthy of the presidency. He takes bribes blatantly, and now he's being a racist blatantly. He's pathetic as a president, and I want to apologize for supporting this rotten man.
I’m not sure we’ve properly addressed how profoundly disturbing it is that America can largely shrug at the stashing of human beings in giant warehouses.
