When every Democrat should be pushing back against a media that loves those heady early days of an American instigated war, I'm afraid too many are influenced enough by it to hedge in their criticisms.

I think we have to prepare for, given the overall sad state of network news, that the Bari Weiss/Tony Dokoupil move actually works as far as getting a ratings bump. If dumbing down and steering the news rightward didn't work, we'd have a very different country right now.
