i think it is fascinating that so many artists say that their best ideas come from out of the blue from within, it is sad that the world is now specifically set up to eliminate those moments of calm and peace where the ideas can surface.

"I'm proud to represent Team USA. But we'd be remiss if we didn't mention what's going on in Minnesota and what a tough time it's been. What's happening is wrong. There's no shades of gray."

Welcome to the latest Ed McMillen game. You are a small, malformed creature whose brief life to date has been terrible. You may notice that everything is smeared with shit and blood. But don't worry about that. Your job is to kill Satan

I always love articles like this because they talk about how it's a mistake for China to not work with the US and its allies on stuff like biotech, space, and other areas.

And then half way into the article they're like "Yeh, we banned anyone from working with China"

The information grey goo
I’m broadly positive about the future of LLMs and AI, but no one should pretend there will not be difficulties or that the transition to using machines isn’t going to pose plenty of challenges.  Some scenarios, though, are profoundly dangerous, not just for the publishing and creative industries,

This seems really straightforward. An institution that will not agree and cannot be compelled to follow the law must be abolished. There's no other option
This is literally what CURRENT LAW requires. It’s in the Constitution! www.politico.com/news/2026/02...
