The only thing Trump enjoys is compensating for his diminished mental and physical state with flamboyant displays of dominance. So his bad week ended on a real high note for him.

It's not Chuck Schumer's fault his whole media vibe is "capitulation addict" but it is the fault of the caucus for not seeing that the times call for an emergency substitution. Someone that conveys "smart, but tough" opposition, ideally.

I know establishment Democrats really believe there's nothing they can take away from Mamdani's extraordinary run, but maybe they should take a look right now at how he conveyed strength and resolve without resorting to asshole bluster.
