Jolanda Lindenbauer joined the group last year as a research assistant, where she supports a project on the risk perception of #microplastics. She is also writing her master’s thesis with the group, looking at how #eco-anxiety and different #pro-environmental behaviours are related to each other. 🏡

The shy 63-year-old lived on a tree-lined street in suburban Sidcup, in Bexley, south-east London. He appeared to be enjoying retirement after a career mending dishwashers and other domestic appliances. “He’s a quiet character – I’ve lived opposite him for 10 years and never really spoken to him,” says Sam, who declined to give her full name. Behind the lace curtains, Rees was much more abrasive, at least online. Die Schuldumkehr zeigt wie sehr Anstand, Moral & Menschlichkeit verrutscht sind.
BILD: Die Tötungen von Renee Good und Alex Pretti durch Beamte der US-Einwanderungs- und Zollbehörde Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis sind die jüngsten Beispiele für die Neigung der Trump-Regierung zu gewaltsamer Konfrontation und zur Inszenierung von Spektakel. Es müssen unabhängige Untersuchungen stattfinden, und Fehlverhalten muss bestraft werden. So sehr Unerfahrenheit, Inkompetenz und eine zu schnelle Hand am Abzug bei diesen Tragödien vermutlich eine erhebliche Rolle gespielt haben: Die eigentliche Wurzel des Problems liegt anderswo - in der Weigerung der Linken, zu akzeptieren, dass sie die Debatte über Einwanderung verloren hat.

I am leaving #WEF Davos with some more hope than when I arrived. I met CEOs of global corporations and NGOs who are much more aggressive and courageous on climate than I had expected. Despite Trump. Of the political speeches, I found Mark Carney’s candour to stand out.
